Exciting News At Advice For Living!

Since establishing Advice For Living just over 3 years ago it has been mainly a one person operation, with some part-time support at different times.  I am now very pleased to announce that as of next Monday (29 June) my wife, Alison, will be joining me full-time in the business.

Alison brings a lifetime of experience in administration, project work, and client service in both private companies and the Federal Public Service.  More importantly, for the last 7 years she has worked with in a number of aged care programs within the Federal Government, administering and developing policy.  Recently her role has been focused on working on Community Care programs with the transition from the Victorian State government to the Commonwealth of the Home & Community Care (HACC) program and the preparation for the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) which commences in July.  This experience will allow us to provide expert advice and assistance to clients who have to make decisions in these important and increasingly complex areas.  So if you or anyone close to you needs assistance in these areas please don’t hesitate to call.

As Practice Manager, Alison will also be responsible for administration, client support, and keeping Andrew working!

You can contact Alison on our main office number 03 8370 5307 or alison@adviceforliving.com.au

… and in the next few weeks we have some even more exciting news so look out for the announcement.

So to keep up with our new developments we’d love you to go to our Advice For Living Facebook Page, – “Like” us, and that way you’ll be the first to hear when we post new developments.  Additionally, we will be using our Facebook page to post updates on Government and market changes that may affect your finances, new legislation, and answers to common financial questions.

We hope this will be an interesting and useful addition to our services, and if you think others may be interested then please feel free to share our page.

For those of you who don’t use Facebook, we will be posting that same information on our website.
